SaveArtSpace is proud to present Motherhood, a public art exhibition on bus shelter ad space in Miami, FL, opening July 17, 2026, curated by Diana “Didi” Contreras.
The Motherhood selected artist is Crystal Pearl Molinary.
Artists of all backgrounds were invited to submit work about motherhood. This can be about being a mother, having a mother, missing a mother, or defining it in your own way. We welcome all styles and perspectives—personal stories, cultural experiences, or abstract ideas. Motherhood can be loving, complicated, joyful, or challenging, and we want to see all sides of it.
Opening July 17, 2026, SaveArtSpace will launch a public art installation for the selected artwork on bus shelter ad space in Miami, FL. The public art will be on view for at least four weeks. Bus shelter location announced on June 29, 2026.

Crystal Pearl Molinary Garcia is a visual artist from Miami, Florida. Working primarily with photography and video, her practice examines the layered intersections of identity, heritage, and femininity within the Cuban-American experience. Her work explores how cultural values are reinforced through aesthetics, domestic rituals, humor, and gestures rooted in memory, revealing the beauty and absurdity of inherited traditions and the ways identity reverberates across generations. Molinary holds a BFA in Photography from Florida International University, has exhibited internationally, and currently serves as the Director of Visual Arts at Miami Arts Charter School.
This diptych is featured in my forthcoming book, Gilded Revival. The book is a collaboration with author Jennine Capo Crucet and releases through Burrow Press in September of 2026. You can preorder the book at the Burrow Press website.
