The Dignity Not For Sale selected artist is Motyko Morales.

As the ultra-wealthy make Miami the playground for their riches, working people who make our city run and breathe life into our communities in every zip code are being squeezed for every penny we’ve got. For every crane they send up in the sky, there are hundreds if not thousands of everyday people fighting to make a dignified life and future here for them and their loved ones. As real estate drives collective amnesia, this is an invitation to remember what makes Miami special.

Opening September 18, 2026, SaveArtSpace will launch a public art installation for the selected artwork on bus shelter ad space in Miami, FL. The public art will be on view for at least four weeks. Bus shelter location announced on August 31, 2026.

Selected Artist

Location: SW 8th St & SW 12th Ct, Miami, FL

Motyko Morales is a Honduran-Cuban American multidisciplinary artist and community organizer from Little Havana, Miami. She dreams of a world where lands are free from extractive industry, and where people are not forced into conditions that demand resilience; where they can just be and care is a politic. Motyko's work is rooted in this anti-carceral politics and shaped by her experiences as a first-generation American and the daughter of immigrant parents. Working primarily in collage and filmmaking, she sees both mediums as portals that allow her to make sense of the world and her place within it, and amplify the voices and lived experiences of Black and Brown communities across the Global South.
