SaveArtSpace is proud to present Special Delivery, a public art exhibition on billboard ad space in New York, NY, starting November 28, curated by Walter Cruz.

Uptown is full of talent and creativity, we deserve every opportunity to share with the world what we have to offer. This is a chance to put our work on public display in front of the folks we share space with on a daily basis. Let's celebrate your originality Uptown, where it belongs.

We invite artists of all ages and talents to submit their artwork between September 2 and October 13, 2025 in order to be considered for the exhibition. This is an opportunity to have your work exhibited on billboard ad space in New York, NY.

The application fee is $29.99 for a single image; each additional image carries a $10 fee. Fees support the production of the exhibition, including the purchase of billboard ad space. All fees paid to SaveArtSpace are 100% tax deductible donations.

Selected artists will be announced after October 27, 2025. Public art will be installed November 28, 2025 in New York, NY, and will be on view for at least one month.


Curator

Walter Cruz is a NY-born and Bronx native creative who explores intersections of art and design through his Dominican-American lens. His work aims to understand how Black and brown people inhabit space. He has exhibited at venues including the Bronx Museum, The Museum of the City of New York and completed residencies at organizations like The Laundromat Project. Cruz serves as the visual designer for the Black Alliance for Just Immigration (BAJI), bringing an artistic eye to social justice issues. He co-founded Zeal, a cooperative uplifting Black multidisciplinary artists. Cruz holds a BA in architecture from Hobart and William Smith Colleges as well as an MFA in interdisciplinary art from Maryland Institute College of Art. His goal is to create work that encourages Black and brown communities to embrace the built environment and explore their shared histories.

Walter Cruz es un creativo nacido en Nueva York y nativo del Bronx que explora las intersecciones del arte y el diseño a través de su lente dominicano-estadounidense. Su trabajo tiene como objetivo comprender cómo las personas negras y de color habitan el espacio. Ha expuesto en lugares como el Museo del Bronx, el Museo de la Ciudad de Nueva York y ha realizado residencias en organizaciones como The Laundromat Project. Cruz se desempeña como diseñador visual de la Alianza Negra por una Inmigración Justa (BAJI), aportando una mirada artística a las cuestiones de justicia social.
