Brooklyn based public art non-profit SaveArtSpace will bring more art to Lower Manhattan via ad space and gallery exhibition celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising and a half-century of LGBTQIA+ liberation. As a community arts organization, we feel that it is our duty to align and ally with the broader artistic community to create exhibitions that address intersectional concerns which can spread a message of progressive and positive social change and empowerment.
We invite LGBTQIA+ artists of all ages and talents to submit between March 11 and April 30, 2019. This is your opportunity to have your art work on ad space in NYC for the month of June during Pride.
There is a $10 donation per image submission to participate, each donation is a tax deduction and goes to producing the public art. Each artist is encouraged to submit up to 10 images. The selected artists will be announced the week of May 6, and will be exhibited on ad space starting in June and at TBA Gallery, with a pop-up and reception on June TBA.
Curated by TBA.
